Exporting images from Software of Excellence

Wherever you can, please export the images as jpegs as these are the most easily uploaded and converted.  The system will automatically convert all referrals from the uploaded format to DICOM so that these can be seen in hospital system Images cannot be lifted straight from the dental software into our system, they need to be exported.

Please note there is a file limit on the system as many referrals are still sent via email. once exported if the file is too large there are instructions here to resize them.

For SOE/Exact you need to select the patient and then their Chart Tab, double click the appropriate radiograph to open it:

Once the image opens, go to file > Export picture

When the  “Save as” box opens you need to change the “Save as type” box to JPEG 24-bit Colour and then save it to a folder on your computer:
